- 50g (1/4 cup) plain flour
- 75ml (1/3 cup) beer
- Black pepper
- Oil for frying
- 225g halloumi cheese (8 x 1cm slices)
- Add the flour and beer to a large bowl, and season generously. Whisk until smooth.
- Heat a couple of centimetres of oil in a Weber Griddle pan or Weber Wok.
- When oil is hot add halloumi and fry until it is golden brown
- Remove onto a sheet of paper towel to drain excess oil
